About

Oliver EngstDipl. Informatiker - Dipl. Kaufmann

Engst Informationssysteme has been consulting and delivering for over twenty years—acting as architect, project lead, and engineer in projects spanning mid-sized businesses to enterprise environments. Being owner-operated with no agency layer ensures that clients collaborate directly with the core expert.

Engst Erneuerbare Energien applies the same pragmatic approach to the energy sector: actively building the transition. Three photovoltaic sites, fully self-funded and operated in-house.

Good questions.Honest answers.

Engst Informationssysteme is a specialized, vendor-independent IT consultancy covering technology strategy, software architecture, project leadership, and engineering. We can embed seamlessly into existing teams or take end-to-end delivery responsibility.

AI-assisted development accelerates output, but introduces unique risks. Engst assists teams in utilizing coding agents effectively: establishing prompting patterns, configuring review workflows for AI-generated code, defining guardrails, and developing the critical judgment to know when human intervention is required.

Both. We provide strategic advisory where a secondary senior perspective is needed, or we assume full responsibility for planning, supplier coordination, budget, and risk management when a project demands a dedicated lead.

The three proprietary photovoltaic installations supply renewable electricity directly to the public grid. All sites are internally financed and managed in-house—spanning from initial planning and construction to continuous monitoring and maintenance.

Engst Erneuerbare Energien operates primarily as a producer rather than an installer. However, we gladly share practical insights derived from the planning, grid integration, and operation of our three sites upon request.

It begins with a brief conversation. Engst listens to your requirements and provides a transparent assessment of how we can add value. Successful partnerships typically start small—such as a technical review, a workshop, or an initial sprint—before expanding into broader engagements.

Let's discuss your objectives.

Whether it's software architecture, AI integration, or solar initiatives—reach out and Engst will respond promptly.
